ROBOTIC LIGHTPAINTING, FASHION AND PARAMETRIC DESIGN
THIS PROJECT IS ABOUT USING LIGHTPAINTING AND ROBOTICS AS INSPIRATIONAL SOURCE FOR 3D CASETUDIES.

When Johannes Braumann from Robots in Architecture asked me for a new collaboration together with the Fashion and Technology students of the UfG Linz University - FAT), the process brought me back to where I stopped in 2016 for another award-submission. 8 months later I think its time to share my project as new input creates new output.

The first casestudy came from students illustrations - created under the umbrella of Univ.Prof.Mag.art.Ute Ploier and Univ.Prof.Dr. Christiane Luible-Bär - which were adapted to 3D motionpaths of the KUKA robot, from there on I evolved ideas in 3D based on taking stills from the former projects to generate 3D graphics from trails formed by lightpainting. This evolution involves new ideas for fashion (print cut & textures aswell as the prototype for architectural parametric design studies.
